Important project: inventory your plastic sip cups and toss the bad ones in the recycle bin

EnviroMom reader Tracy sent us an important email with a link to Grist about dangerous plastics in sip cups:

"I subscribe to Grist and this sad little article arrived in my inbox today and I thought of EnviroMom.com (not quite as sad as the box of dead chicks - I'm still recovering). Dreaded plastics and their inherent evil are EVERYWHERE ..."

There's a part of me that is so angry that manufacturers of sip cups foist all this nasty plastic (that they know is unsafe) on us. Then my calmer self realizes that at least now I know about this, and so we do what we can to spread the word, and make more informed choices. Ignorance is far from bliss.
