Upcoming 2008 Master Recycler Plastics Roundups

Here's an update from the Master Recycler program on past and upcoming Plastics Roundups:

Almost 7,000 metro residents have participated in past Master Recycler Plastics Roundups, resulting in more than 73 tons of plastics being either recycled or reused. Thank you for your help in curbing global warming! The eight site coordinators have been planning for the winter roundup and here is the latest message that just got sent to the participants and press:

Winter Master Recycler Plastics Roundup will take place on two Saturdays and four locations:

Saturday January 26, 9am - 2pm at two locations:

• Southeast Portland: Floyd Light Middle School, 10800 SE Washington
• North Portland: Hosted by Kaiser Permanente West Interstate, 3325 N Interstate (off Fremont and Overlook Park)

Saturday, February 9, 9 am - 2pm at two locations:

• Lake Oswego: Co-hosted by Shorenstein Realty Services LP and Autodesk, Inc. 5400 Meadows Rd.
• Rock Creek: Westview High School, 4200 NW 185th Ave.
