EnviroMom Kid's Clothing Swap, March 8 @ Milagros

Dscn0524 It's back! We're hosting another EnviroMom Kid's Clothing Swap, so start cleaning out your closets! Clothing swaps are an excellent, eco-friendly way to keep clothing circulating through the community and extending their usefulness and lifetime. Here are the details:

WHEN?    Saturday, March 8, 11am - Noon

WHERE?  Milagros Boutique, 5433 NE 30th, Portland, 503-493-4141

WHAT?    Bring gently-used items with no stains, rips or tears, missing buttons or broken zippers in sizes newborn up to 5T. Acceptable items include:

  • clothing
  • socks and tights
  • shoes
  • coats, hats, sunglasses and other accessories
  • cloth diapers and diaper covers
  • maternity clothing and nursing bras

Please no toys, books or games -- just items to wear. It helps to sort your clothing beforehand (so you have more time to shop!) in these five categories:

  • newborn to 12 months
  • 12-24 months
  • 2T/3T
  • 4T/5T
  • maternity

There are no limits to how much to bring or take, we just ask that you take what you need. Please bring a bag to carry home all of your new-to-you finds! Any leftover items will be donated to Portland Impact, a non-profit organization devoted to helping Portland-area residents alleviate the effects of poverty.

Have any friends who are expecting their first baby and might not have anything to swap yet? We always have a ton of newborn to 24 month clothes left over, so please tell your pregnant friends to come check it out!

Milagros is a kid-friendly shop, and children are more than welcome to attend. Make sure to stick around and browse their collection!

Questions? Send us an email at enviromompdx@gmail.com. See you there!
