How to kill moss naturally?

Here in Portland moss in unavoidable. Moisture = moss. We used to have an old brick patio, and every winter moss would turn it into a slimey, slippery mess, and every spring I'd get down on my hands and knees and scrape it off with a wire brush. Good times! I haven't had any moss in my patch of weeds, er, grass yet, but Kristen isn't so lucky:

So, my front yard looks like crap.  Moss everywhere.  Are there any green products to kill moss? or do I just go with it.  If you just go with it, do you feed it so it looks healthier and lush?  What do you think?

Has anyone had success getting rid of moss in grass naturally? What products did you use and where do you get them?
