Have Bunz...will Travel!
My family recently went on a trip back to my hometown in Missouri to visit friends and family. At first, I was reluctant to try and tote all my son's Fuzzi Bunz cloth diapers and have to deal with washing them and all of that stuff. But, we are committed to using our cloth diapers and absolutely love the ease and comfort of them...so surely we could figure out a way to make it work on our trip. We packed up the diapers as usual and off we went...
It did not take us long to realize how lucky we are to live in a community where you can get any and every cloth diaper and/or accessory that you would ever need. There was no single store in the area or immediate area (town of 40,000 people) that even sold cloth diapers! I was truly amazed. As a matter of fact, there was only ONE somewhat "natural" store in the 50 mile radius! All I wanted was some kind of laundry detergent that I could wash my diapers in...because...really...I didn't pack that!! We made it to the one store and found some appropriate detergent (and paid triple for it) and it worked out fine. (Also, on a side note, their Almond Butter at the store was $23.79).
Do you use cloth diapers and do you find it easy to travel with them? Do you have any cloth diaper travel tips to share?
