Advice needed: pest management in organic garden

It's not news to anyone that I have not the first clue what I'm doing in my garden. Just tryin' to grow a few fruits and veggies and flowers. Organic-like. Chemical free. Now, don't be alarmed. I'm not armed with Roundup in hand ready to blast away.

Strawberry But SOMEONE or SOMETHING has been eating my strawberry.

And SOMEONE or SOMETHING has been eating my daphne.

And SOMEONE or SOMETHING has been eating my oregano... Well, maybe just a little bit. Tiny nibbles. On one leaf. Maybe two. If you look closely enough. On second thought, I guess the oregano doesn't look half bad.Oregano

So here's the thing. I have no idea what that SOMEONE or SOMETHING may be. It doesn't seem to be slug, the main nemesis in our garden of past years. I spy no slug trails. Is it even possible for a corpulent slug to climb up a waif-like little oregano without knocking the poor plant down? What to do, farmers? What to do? The truth is, I have four strawberry plants, and only one has these nibbles on it. I have a whole bunch of other herbs, and this is the only one with bites on it. The daphne -- there's only one of those. Do I ignore? And hope the pest goes away? Do I spray it with some lemon juice or vinegar or organic-y stuff? Should I call 1-800-MASTER-GARDNER? Just don't know what to do here except worry myself silly over my little fledgling plants...
