Announcing the EnviroMom One Can A Month Challenge!
OK, EnviroMoms! Are you ready to put the reduce, reuse, recycle mantra into practice and work on whittling down your garbage? On July 1, EnviroMom is launching the One Can A Month Challenge to help you and your family reduce your curbside garbage service to one can a month. Renee and I and lots of other families have managed to do it, and we know you can, too. Throughout the month of July we are going to go room by room through the typical family home, identifying waste that is generated in each room. We'll offer tips and strategies for reducing, reusing and recycling waste and answer any questions and brainstorm challenges you might have.
You can do this! To register for the challenge, visit the main One Can A Month Challenge page and leave a comment, including your email in the proper field. Everyone who registers will be entered to win a fabulous package of eco-friendly items valued at $250 generously donated by EnviroMom sponsors and other great green businesses. We'll hold the drawing at the end of July (so make sure to enter your email address).
BONUS for bloggers! Grab the One Can A Month Challenge banner and put it on the sidebar of your blog to be entered to win a second package of green goods valued at $250 (essentially doubling your chances of winning)! Make sure to send us an email at enviromompdx [at] gmail [dot] com after you upload the banner to your blog to be entered in the drawing. You can even blog along as you take the challenge, reporting on your reduce, reuse, recycle efforts and inspiring your own readers to follow your example. (Wouldn't it be cool if we could all work to spread the reduce, reuse, recycle virus?) Go EnviroMoms!
