Coming clean on home-made shampoo experiment

You know how dirty and grubby and greasy you get when you go camping? No showers for days. Layer upon layer of sunscreen, lake water, campfire-smoke, sweat and bug spray coat your skin and hair? Well, that's how my hair felt on day 6 of my month-long, home-made shampoo experiment. Therefore, I hung my greasy head in shame and defeat. Threw in the towel. And washed my hair with enough store-bought shampoo to degrease a tractor.

For those of you who do the no 'poo thing. I bow down to your enviro-superiority. It just was not for me.
