Thomas Friedman: free lecture at Portland State University on March 9

Thomas Friedman, New York Times columnist and best-selling author, will give a free lecture at Portland State University on March 9. The lecture starts at noon, and is followed by Q&A, and then a book-signing. I happen to be reading his most recent book, Hot, Flat and Crowded right now. Let's just say it's no Michael Recycle. Heavy stuff. Big issues. Really long. But Friedman is so very well-informed. I'm learning a ton. The lecture should be great. And doesn't everyone love free?
