Green Valentine's Day
Our children snuck into our bedroom at 5am, armed with paper-chain hearts, hand-written valentines, and a roll of tape. They wore head-lamps and whispered, and amazingly, we all managed to pull the blankets over our heads and go back to sleep (in our own beds) until 6. That's when the children came back, hopped into our bed, and wished us a Happy Valentine's Day!
I returned the love by serving up slice after slice of heart-shaped toast with home-made raspberry jam for breakfast.
So far, it's been about the sweetest, simplest Valentine's Day you could wish for.
How will you celebrate Valentine's Day?
