Huge recycling event in Clackamas this Saturday

If you plan to be in the Clackamas area this Saturday, fill up your car with the stuff that you can't recycle curbside. E-Waste Solutions will be recycling old televisions, computers and electronics for a fee of $5-$25 (with a portion of proceeds benefiting St. Jude's Hospital for Children). Also on-site will be free document shredding; free recycling of plastics like bags, flower pots, butter and yogurt containers, and toys; and recycling of cardboard and no-foil wrapping paper. For $3 per 30lb bag you can unload your styrofoam blocks and packing peanuts; and for $3 you can recycle your Christmas tree. Saturday, December 30 from 7am-4pm at Kmart, 13750 SE Johnson Creek Blvd. 503-722-0010.

Check out our recent Enviromom posts about other area recycling options.
