Green living books for parents and kids

Ouch! Global warming is a hot, hot topic, so it's no surprise that there are so many books out there on what we can do to reduce our impact on the environment. I haven't personally looked at either of these new releases, but thought I'd pass along the info (and thanks to Hope and Amy for alerting us):

Raisingbabygreen_2 Raising Baby Green by Alan Greene, M.D., offers health tips and product suggestions for creating an eco-friendly home environment for your baby. (Hmm, I wonder if Dr. Greene is his real name. How convenient for him.) Dr. Greene also has a Web site that is chock full of general children's health information.

Downtoearthguide The Down-to-Earth Guide to Global Warming by Laurie David and Cambria Gordon is geared toward kids of all ages and filled with information, photos and suggestions for what kids can do to combat climate change. Laurie David produced An Inconvenient Truth and is a Hollywood mover. She's an environmental activist and is involved in all sorts of global warming prevention projects.

We've posted some other kid's books on caring for the environment, which are also worth a look.
